Daily Prayer for October 13th, 2021
Good morning, God—thank you!
I don’t trust anyone, God, except for you. I put no trust in a neighbor, nor do I have confidence in a friend. Enemies, they surround me. Therefore, please show me where to go and what not to do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
