Daily Prayer for September 14th, 2021
Good morning, Creator of Heaven and earth, and all of humankind—thank You for another day!! 🙂
I often think about the endless number of faces, with only two eyes, one nose, and one mouth, yet none of the same, with variations of all kinds, but only one small front part of our heads. It is unfathomable what you can do, God. You are remarkable, and I thank You! —I give you glory, and honor, and praise!! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
The Beginning
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
3 When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?
5 You have made them a little lower than the angels
and crowned them with glory and honor.
6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their feet:
