Daily Prayer for September 13th, 2021
Good Monday morning, God—thank you!
Thank you especially for “the gift of eternal life in Christ Jesus,” where we will have new young bodies, and there will be no more sorrow or pain. Who would choose to instead go away into eternal punishment far worse than life today and be thrown into a fiery furnace where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth? Hell no!! Not me—I’m going to Heaven to be with my Jesus. So be it.
For God So Loved the World
16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
42 and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
9 They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,
