Daily Prayer for September 10th, 2021

Good Friday morning, God—thank you!

Lord, please help those waiting to be rescued from Afghanistan, keep them safe, and bring them home soon. God bless every person affected by this pandemic and world crisis. Surround us with your love, protection, and angels as we pray for one another. ❤ In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Psalm 34:17-20

17 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears
and delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
and saves the crushed in spirit.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
20 He keeps all his bones;
not one of them is broken.

2 Corinthians 12:9

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

John 16:33

33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Matthew 24:13

13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
