Daily Prayer for August 31st, 2021
Good morning, God—thank you!😊
I seek you, and you answer me. You deliver me from all my fears. Dressed in your armor, I stand up with boldness and fight the good fight of faith; since it is you who fights for me, just as you promised me—Jesus who delivers me/us from the wrath to come! Hallelujah! Amen.
The Whole Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
John 8:36
36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
12 Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,
13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment,
11 Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.
13 Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
