Daily Prayer for August 4th, 2021
Good morning, God—thank you! 😊
I know that the enemy fights hard against those who enlighten your kingdom. He knows you have good things in store for us all. Thank you, Father! The battle belongs to you. Would you please help me stop wasting time spinning my wheels—fighting with exhausted strength? Empty me of me and fill me with all of you, God! Keep me aware of the enemy’s traps so that I can stand firm against his schemes with your Armor. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
