Daily Prayer for July 30th, 2021
Good morning, God—thank you for this sunny Friday!
Lately, my thoughts have gone more toward negative thinking than things that are worthy of praise. Holy Spirit, please help me train my mind to wire out toxic thoughts. Instead of thinking the worst of mishaps, replace them with things of excellence—worthy of trust and praise in you; so that my life and loved ones will not suffer. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
A Living Sacrifice
12 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
