Daily Prayer for July 10th, 2021
Good morning, God—thank you! 😊
You gave your son a ransom for me/us and raised him back to life. Therefore, I chose to become more like him. Consequently, by faith, I will not boast but grow in the wisdom, grace, and knowledge of him and through him—Jesus Christ. Thank you, Father!! Amen.
10 that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,
23 Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, 24 but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord.”
3 And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
