Daily Prayer for June 24th, 2021

Good morning, God—thank you! 😊

I never knew how much salt meant to you until I heard someone talk about its health benefits and how it heals diseases. Curious, I found close to one hundred scriptures about it in the Holy Bible. Come to see—unrefined, mineral-rich whole salt is good for me. Salt is an essential nutrient that my/our bodies need for countless functions; therefore, I should not avoid salt as rumor has it, but use it as the beneficial supplement you intended. Salt is a gift from you to use in many ways to keep my/our bodies healthy and strong. Thank you, Father, for making this known to me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

2 Kings 2:21

50 Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, how will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”

Numbers 18:19

19 All the holy contributions that the people of Israel present to the Lord I give to you, and to your sons and daughters with you, as a perpetual due. It is a covenant of salt forever before the Lord for you and for your offspring with you.”
