Daily Prayer for June 20th, 2021
Good Sunday morning, God—thank you! 😊
Your Son, Jesus will come like a thief in the night. No one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but you only. Therefore, I must be ready. And because I follow you, for a short while, I will experience worldwide hardships, persecution, disasters, famine, war, pain, and suffering, which will affect all of creation—facing tribulation as a test of my faith, thus escape it. In you, I have peace, but in the world, I will have difficulty. However, by faith, I know; you have overcome the world, and that I am free, in you! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be.
The Time of the End
12 “At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book.
4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.
33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
10 Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.
