Daily Prayer for June 18th, 2021
Good Friday morning, God—thank you! 😊
Why can’t most people see that kindness matters? It behooves one to be kindhearted to another. “A cruel man hurts himself.” Therefore, why be ungrateful and evil? Holy Spirit, as hard as it may be at times, please help me to love and forgive everyone, just as Christ forgave me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
17 A man who is kind benefits himself,
but a cruel man hurts himself.
32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.
12 Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,
