Daily Prayer for June 17th, 2021
Good morning, God—thank you! 😊
Holy Spirit, please let me never go around meddling among my neighbor, but mind my own wretched affairs—pray for others, don’t beat them down! As “where there is no whisperer, quarreling ceases.” In Jesus’ name. Amen.
20 For lack of wood the fire goes out,
and where there is no whisperer, quarreling ceases.
15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer or as a meddler.
11 and to aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you,
13 Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets,
but he who is trustworthy in spirit keeps a thing covered.
16 You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not stand up against the life of your neighbor: I am the Lord.
