Daily Prayer for May 16th, 2021
Good Sunday morning, God—thank you! 😊
Your Word in Timothy 3:1-5 below pretty much describes what is taking place right now as “nation rises against nation and kingdom against kingdom.” Therefore, for you and with you, let me help spread the gospel as far as possible. That’s what all believers should always do—tell the good news about Jesus before the end of time. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Godlessness in the Last Days
3 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.
15 And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
