Daily Prayer for May 3rd, 2021
Good Monday morning, God—thank you!! 😊
I cast all my anxieties on you because you love me and will sustain me. Because I trust you, you give me rest. As I lay down all my burdens before you, you give me strength. Even enough power to help carry my neighbor. Thank you, Father!! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
22 Cast your burden on the Lord,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved.
7 casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
