Daily Prayer for April 5th, 2021
Good morning, God—thank you!! 🙂
Indeed, Jesus’ first miracle was turning water into wine. So, I believe, according to Your word, it’s OK to drink wine in moderation as a refreshment, but not to excess. And with thankfulness to You. Or even as a necessity for the sake of ailments. I am Yours. My works get done in faith and love. It is pleasing to you to see Your children make free and cheerful use of Your Creation and the blessings You bestow upon us. So, be happy in You, salute You with celebration and a toast of Your wine but, avoid becoming drunk because it will cause me to stumble. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,
23 (No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments.)

7 Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart, for God has already approved what you do.
15 and wine to gladden the heart of man,
oil to make his face shine
and bread to strengthen man’s heart.
