Daily Prayer for January 28th, 2021
Good Thursday morning, God—thank you! 😊
Thank you especially for Jesus, and for giving me the supernatural ability (metamorphosis) to become more like him. Holy Spirit, please take control and conform me to the character and compassion of Jesus as I have committed to knowing him, and help me to display his love to those around me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,
A Living Sacrifice
12 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.[b] 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
7 Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.
