Daily Prayer for December 2nd, 2020

Good morning, God—thank you!! 😊

As I keep in your word daily, pray, and fellowship with others about the Holy Bible, let me consider everything all verses say on a subject before drawing any conclusions. I am not a teacher, only a witness who likes to tell of your love and spread the good news about Jesus; a God-fearing woman who is very careful about not taking the bible out of context. I don’t think a particular subject is ever contained in one verse—not that I know of anyway. Holy Spirit, help me do my best to present myself to you as one approved, rightly handling scriptures, and continue in faith, love, and sanctification through your word, which is truth. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

2 Timothy 2:15 ESV

1 John 4:8 ESV

Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

John 17:17 ESV

17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.
