Daily Prayer for November 14th, 2020
Good morning, God—thank you!
While satisfying my wanderlust, I desire to do it with you, as you have a greater purpose for my adventures. Who would want to share their joy with others without your comfort?— I want to share my life with you. <3 I pray that everyone will get to know you on a personal level. Your sweetness comes from your earnest counsel. There’s nothing like a friend in you/Jesus. Thank you, Father!
14 You are my friends if you do what I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.
24 A man of many companions may come to ruin,
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
23 and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God.
9 Oil and perfume make the heart glad,
and the sweetness of a friend comes from his earnest counsel.
