Daily Prayer for November 8th, 2020
Good Sunday morning, God—thank you!
Holy Spirit, please help keep me on guard against all clever facsimiles, who speak out of both sides of their mouths. They say one thing but are thinking another. Thank you for your agape love. That under all circumstances, I love everyone, no exceptions! It’s what’s in our hearts. I have no hate for anyone in my heart. ❤ Thank you, goodness!! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
19 We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.
16 There are six things that the Lord hates,
seven that are an abomination to him:
17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked plans,
feet that make haste to run to evil,
19 a false witness who breathes out lies,
and one who sows discord among brothers.
36 But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
42 Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.
38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
11 Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.
20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot[a] love God whom he has not seen.
