Daily Prayer for October 31st, 2020
Good Saturday morning, God—thank you for this harvest day!
Today and every day, I celebrate you!! Holy Spirit, help me to keep my cool and not become irritable by the actions of others. I, too, am not perfect. But please, God, let me be humble before you and others—patient and kind. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
14 Let all that you do be done in love.
Fulfilling the Law Through Love
8 Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
12 Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,
8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.
4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.
