Daily Prayer for October 22nd, 2020
Good morning, God—thank you for this Thursday—thank you for everything, good and bad! 😊
Some may wonder why I’m thanking you for the crummy things too, but I know that everything I/we suffer is for my/our good. Therefore, I will continue to praise you. Lift you on high. Be warmhearted in spirit and serve my Lord. Like raging flames; my heart is on fire for you!! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
11 Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.
16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
3 And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them.
16 John answered them all, saying, “I baptize you with water, but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
