Daily Prayer for October 8th, 2020
Good morning, God—thank you! 😊
Instead of focusing inwardly and getting down in the dumps, let me lay aside the weight that clings so closely—run with endurance the race you set before me! “Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” Your power is made perfect in my weakness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
and saves the crushed in spirit.
7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
