Daily Prayer for September 6th, 2020
HaPpy Sunday, God—thank you!! 🙂
Discipline can be painful, but when trained by you, I reap the peaceful fruit of righteousness. Teach me. When I pray, let me hear your voice. Tell me when to turn left or right. Stop me in my fleshly desires that lead to destruction. You are my life coach. I can do all things through you who strengthen me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
5 An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.
13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
12 Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed.
