Daily Prayer for September 5th, 2020
Good morning, God—thank you! 🙂
When I walk with the wise, I become more wise—hiking in harmony with everyone, not gossiping or spreading strife. Friends are a gift. Like Jesus, he is my best friend and favorite reward. He always forgives everyone who asks. Like him, Holy Spirit, let me do unto others as I would have them do unto me. In his precious name. Amen.
17 A friend loves at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity.
11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
28 A dishonest man spreads strife,
and a whisperer separates close friends.
14 “He who withholds kindness from a friend forsakes the fear of the Almighty.
31 And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.
20 Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise,
but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
