Daily Prayer for September 2nd, 2020
Good morning, God—thank you for another day! 🙂
Salvation is simple. Just trust. Unlike Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, this time, believing you through your son, Jesus’s blood is the only way—our last chance, the key to eternal life. Thank you, Father, for your love and patience with us all. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
For God So Loved the World
16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.
4 Delight yourself in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him, and he will act.
6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light,
and your justice as the noonday.
36 But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not fear, only believe.”
