Daily Prayer for August 12th, 2020
Good Wednesday morning, God—thank you! 🙂
By your grace, I’m saved through faith. By faith and hope in things not seen. I trust that you sent your son, Jesus, to die on the cross for my/our sins and that I was made righteous and given salvation through his blood and suffering. He rose on the third day and will come again to take us home—we who believe. Thank you, Father!! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Romans 10:17 ESV
17 So faith comes from hearing and hearing through the word of Christ.
By Faith
11 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
6 And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
22 And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
22 And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. 23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
