Daily Prayer for August 10th, 2020
Good morning, Majesty—thank you for this Monday!! 🙂
You are so awesome, God, clothed with brilliance and greatness! Your power and divine nature are apparent. I look around at what you’ve done, and think, there is no excuse for anyone who can see. Holy Spirit, please remove the blinders from the lost/unbelievers. I’m so thankful that I can see the beauty and excellence of your Kingdom. Thank you for giving me a believing heart—thank you for everything, especially for your son, Jesus, who came to bring a better covenant—one not of rules and regulations, but love and grace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Jesus, High Priest of a Better Covenant
8 Now the point in what we are saying is this: we have such a high priest, one who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,
11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.
20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
3 He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
