Daily Prayer for August 4th, 2020
Good morning, God—thank! 🙂
You are amazing, God! You gave your only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. I believe that. And when I was born again, you made me a fisher of men. Guide me to the catch, Father, and I will humbly tell the good news about Jesus. I’ll hook them; you clean them—wash them as white as snow! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
For God So Loved the World
16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
19 And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
17 And Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you become fishers of men.”
I Am the Light of the World
12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
18 “Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord:
though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red like crimson,
they shall become like wool.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
