Daily Prayer for June 25th, 2020
Good morning, God—thank you! 🙂
I had come to the end of myself when I finally turned to you to receive your gracious provision of righteousness by faith in Jesus Christ. Thank you for sending your son to die on the cross for my/our sins—for giving me eternal life through his worthy blood. Please, may all lost sheep turn to you and surrender? They’ll be glad they did. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
For God So Loved the World
16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
6 But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise, grace would no longer be grace.
9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
