Daily Prayer for April 26th, 2020

Good morning, God—thank you! 🙂

You called me to freedom, Father; therefore, please help me do away with all resentment. I repented my sins, and you forgave me. Why should I hold anything against my neighbor? That’ll only keep me in bondage. Should someone sin against me, help me to get to the bottom of it, forgive them, and then let it go—give it all to you! In Jesus’ name. Amen.

James 1:20 ESV

but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

Matthew 6:14-15 ESV

14 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
