Daily Prayer for August 28th, 2019
Good morning, God—thank You!! :o)
In you, I am strong, Almighty God. Please use me to help strengthen the weak. I humbly ask for your mercy. Please restore ____, ____, ____ and ____ to good health, and long life. May all go well with their souls. Through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
3 You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fat ones, but you do not feed the sheep. 4 The weak you have not strengthened, the sick you have not healed, the injured you have not bound up, the strayed you have not brought back, the lost you have not sought, and with force and harshness, you have ruled them.
The Prayer of Faith
13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
2 Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.
