Daily Prayer for July 15th, 2021
Good Thursday morning, God—thank you!
Not just for me, but especially for you, let me forget my complaints and be of good cheer—frown less and smile more! I have so much to be thankful for—and besides, a cheerful heart is good medicine. 😊 In Jesus’ name. Amen.
27 If I say, ‘I will forget my complaint,
I will put off my sad face, and be of good cheer,’
135 Make your face shine upon your servant,
and teach me your statutes.
13 A glad heart makes a cheerful face,
but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed.
14 The heart of him who has understanding seeks knowledge,
but the mouths of fools feed on folly.
5 Those who look to him are radiant,
and their faces shall never be ashamed.
