Daily Prayer for March 30th, 2021

Good morning, God—thank you for another day! 🙂

Of course, no one is perfect except for you, Jesus. But as we grow, especially in you, we gradually learn right from wrong, and in you, we desire to be more like you. Lord, thank you for coming into my life and teaching me how to love. I want to love the way you do. Thank you also that you gave me enough wisdom to teach my child/children about you and your loving-kindness while still growing in you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Proverbs 16:28

28 A dishonest man spreads strife,
and a whisperer separates close friends.

Isaiah 54:13

13 All your children shall be taught by the Lord,
and great shall be the peace of your children.

Colossians 3:21

21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.

Ephesians 4:29

29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Proverbs 22:6

Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 6:16-19

16 There are six things that the Lord hates,
seven that are an abomination to him:
17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked plans,
feet that make haste to run to evil,
19 a false witness who breathes out lies,
and one who sows discord among brothers.
