Daily Prayer for March 27th, 2021
Good morning, God of peace—thank you! 🙂
Your word says, “Blessed are the peacemakers.” The ones who bring the good news about Jesus—and happiness—lift light, not darkness, lies, and fake news. Holy Spirit, please help me keep watch out for those who are lovers of self and money, the heartless and slanderous, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Godlessness in the Last Days
3 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
7 How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness,
who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reign
9 “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.
33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
