Daily Prayer for March 7th, 2021
Good morning, God—thank you!! 😊
I will run with endurance the race you set before me, always looking to Jesus, “the founder and perfecter of my faith.” I will rejoice in adversity, as suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character. Character yields hope and hope does not put me/us to shame. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
Jesus, Founder, and Perfecter of Our Faith
12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
13 As for you, brothers, do not grow weary in doing good.
