Daily Prayer for March 1st, 2021
Good morning, God—thank you for this Monday!! 😊
I do not live only by food and water sold at the grocery store, but by real bread from heaven. Spiritual nourishment—the sustenance of life. As I abide in you, and you in me, I’m “like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither.” Hallelujah! Thank you, Father! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
32 Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.
4 But he answered, “It is written,
“‘Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
Book One
The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked
1 Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree
planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
4 The wicked are not so,
but are like chaff that the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
6 for the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.
2 Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation—
