Prayer for December 26th, 2023

Good morning, God —thank you!!

Christmas is the feast of incarnation when we celebrate the birth of Jesus —Emanual (God with us.) But it is also a pagan holiday—part of Satan’s ploys to obscure your plan for humankind. If we believers obeyed you and your Word by refusing to keep agnostic holidays, it would thwart his schemes (Santa clause, which is a lie, fancy decorated trees and stockings, Christmas caroling, obligated gift giving,) there would be less stress for everyone in obedience to you. We should always give with a glad heart, not under pressure. Scripture is clear that we should turn away from the ways of the world and be aware of his entry into the church, tricking many “through philosophy and vain deceit.” Please let me continue to gain biblical knowledge as I celebrate Jesus every day —all day long, hallelujah!! Amen.

Colossians 2:8

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Matthew 15:3

But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

Deuteronomy 12:32

32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Proverbs 4:14-17

14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.

15 Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.

16 For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.

17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.

2 Timothy 3:1-5

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
