Daily Prayer for December 9th, 2020

Good morning, God—thank you!! 😊

The winds and the waves know your name. Please stretch out your hand and break the power of this wicked and worldly storm. Mighty God, you are my/our strength. Thank You, Great Creator, for saving us in times of trouble. I know that you are with us. Therefore, let us “be still,” knowing that you are all-powerful. Nothing can stand in your way or change your plans for us! In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Psalm 46:10 ESV

I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”

1 Peter 4:13 ESV

13 But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.

Deuteronomy 31:6 ESV

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

Nahum 1:7 ESV

The Lord is good,
a stronghold in the day of trouble;
he knows those who take refuge in him.

Mark 4:39 ESV

39 And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
