Daily Prayer for December 4th, 2020

Good Friday morning, God—thank you!! 😊

By seeking you and your word continually, crying out to you for others and myself while longing for your love, and helping the weak, blessings run over and repeatedly put into my lap. I’ve been rich, and I’ve been poor. Lord Jesus said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Thank you, Father, for providing for, loving, and blessing me. May everyone put you first, love you with their whole hearts and others, and be blessed. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

1 Timothy 6:17 ESV

17 As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.

Acts 20:35 ESV

35 In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Deuteronomy 6:5 ESV

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

Matthew 6:31-34 ESV

31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Luke 6:38 ESV

38 give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”

Proverbs 11:28 ESV

28 Whoever trusts in his riches will fall,
but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf.

Philippians 4:19 ESV

19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
