Daily Prayer for November 12th, 2020

Good morning, God—thank you!

If anyone is feeling empty or alone, let them surrender to you for comfort. Save that person from sin—by faith, give them salvation. They will then feel love, joy, and peace like never before, such that surpasses any other and all understanding. Thank you, Father, for saving me, for loving me and giving me peace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Psalm 23 ESV

The Lord Is My Shepherd

A Psalm of David.

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
    He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
    He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.

Matthew 11:28-29 ESV

28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
