Daily Prayer for November 6th, 2020
Dear God,
I trust that whatever happens on earth today, that you are in control. The hearts of our president, other leaders, councilmen, evildoers, and naysayers are like flowing streams in the palm of your hand. You direct and turn them. They will act in the way that you have already planned. So when I/we pray, please help us remember to have faith that you have overcome the world—this battle is won. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
17 You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, and the Lord will be with you.”
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
