HEAVEN OR HELL?

Daily Prayer for September 8th, 2020

Good morning, God—thank you!! 🙂

You have blessed me in so many ways, even by the beauty that surrounds me. Feeling your comfort and seeing your creativity, it is apparent that you are fulfilling your promises in the Holy Bible, which includes heaven and hell. It is also inevitable that our fleshly bodies will perish, but our souls will live on forever. Humankind will either go to hades, “where torment smoke goes up forever, there is no rest, day or night, and there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth,’ or heaven, given new bodies, and live in paradise with you, where there is no sorrow or pain. Thank you, Father, for giving me sense enough to choose the latter. May everyone turn to you by faith and surrender. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Romans 6:23 ESV

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 2:6-8 ESV

6 He will render to each one according to his works: 7 to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; 8 but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury.

Matthew 25:46 ESV

46 And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Revelation 14:11 ESV

11 And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”

Matthew 10:28 ESV

28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Matthew 25:30 ESV

30 And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Luke 23:43 ESV

43 And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
