Daily Prayer for August 30th, 2020
Good Sunday morning, God—thank you! 🙂
I have been born again and raise with Christ; therefore, let me act like it—live for you! Think about such a blessing and things from above. Show you, honor, and glory in Jesus’ great name. Amen.
Put On the New Self
3 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
5 Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 On account of these the wrath of God is coming.
Stewards of God’s Grace
4 Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, 2 so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God.
57 As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me.
