Daily Prayer for July 7th, 2020
Good morning, God—thank you!! :o)
I know who my enemy is. He is the highest-ranked fallen angel who rebelled against you; my adversary, tempter, accuser, and deceiver who works by trying to convince me to doubt you and believe his lies instead. I open doors for him to attack me whenever I deliberately disobey you and your word. Therefore, I need to run from temptation and pray against his plans to hurt me and others. Holy Spirit, help me to keep strong in faith while dressed in your armor. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
22 So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
