Daily Prayer for June 11th, 2020

Good morning, God—thank you! 🙂

It seems that the book of Revelation is unfolding as a scenario of told events take place—war, famine, disease, earthquakes, etc. Gosh, Father, as you fulfill your promises, please let everyone surrender to you and come together in unity. Help us all to understand that there’s much more to this craziness, and let us see that the prince of darkness is at work in man blinding the eyes of our brothers. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

1 Corinthians 12:12-27 ESV

One Body with Many Members

12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.

1 Peter 3:8 ESV

Suffering for Righteousness’ Sake

Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.

1 Corinthians 1:10 ESV

Divisions in the Church

10 I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.

Colossians 3:14 ESV

14 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

Psalm 133:1 ESV

When Brothers Dwell in Unity

133 Behold, how good and pleasant it is
when brothers dwell in unity!

Ephesians 4:3 ESV

eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Ephesians 4:32 ESV

32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Romans 15:6 ESV
