Daily Prayer for June 10th, 2020
Good morning, God—thank you! 🙂
I heard the good news about Jesus and chose to believe. I was informed and complied. Then, you undoubtedly sent the Holy Spirit to live, love, and dwell in me to teach me more. And now that I know, it will behoove me, to listen to your instructions, and follow your advice. Prayer, petition, and keeping in your word is also suitable for learning. It arms me for battle and keeps me abreast. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
20 Listen to advice and accept instruction,
that you may gain wisdom in the future.
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
21 but test everything; hold fast what is good.
15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out, and having found him he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”
24 You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.
