Daily Prayer for May 13th, 2020

Good Wednesday morning, God—thank you! 🙂

Often lately, I find myself becoming perturbed by people’s inconsiderate actions. Father, help me to change my mindset and mind my own business. Focus on what I can do to be more considerate. Do unto my neighbor what I would have them to do unto me. After all, that is your second greatest commandment. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Ephesians 4:23 ESV

23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,

Philippians 2:5 ESV

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,

Proverbs 17:22 ESV

22 A joyful heart is good medicine,

Philippians 2:14-15 ESV

14 Do all things without grumbling or disputing, 15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,

Matthew 22:36-40 NIV

36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
