Daily Prayer for May 11th, 2020

Good Monday morning, God—thank you! 🙂

Your invisible characteristics, eternal power, and divine nature alone are enough for me to know that you are real. All I have to do is look all around to see the things that you have made. So, when I heard the good news about Jesus, I sensibly chose to believe. I repented, was baptized with water, and your Holy Spirit, and gladly received feeling your peace and presence. Thank you, Father! Anyway, sooner or later, I will have to give an account of myself to you, in Jesus’ name Amen.

John 3:16 ESV

For God So Loved the World

16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 1:20 ESV

20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

Acts 2:38 ESV

38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 14:12 ESV

12 So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.

Matthew 28:19-20 ESV

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
