Daily Prayer for April 22nd, 2020
Good Wednesday morning, God—thank you! 🙂
As I keep in your word (the Holy Bible) daily and carry on continuous, open-ended conversations with you throughout the days, help me to stop and listen. And when I speak, convey the truth in love. And when I meet trials of all kinds, count it all joy, in constant communion, never stop praying. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
The Fellowship of the Believers
42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
Testing of Your Faith
2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds,
13 Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. 14 Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. 15 Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress.
15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ,
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
