Daily Prayer for March 19th, 2020
Good Thursday morning, God—thank you!! 🙂
I give because I want to, not for any reward or to be blessed, I am blessed! But because I love you. Anyway, everything I have is yours. “it is more blessed to give than to receive.” Holy Spirit, please lead me to help the weak, as there is suffering all around me. Let me give with a glad heart, showing compassion, with a smile, an ear to listen, a hug, financially, or a helping hand. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
14 “But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.
11 You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.
25 Whoever brings blessing will be enriched,
and one who waters will himself be watered.
19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
35 In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
